Description: Note: I have since been told that Tinikling is no longer the national dance of the Philippines, and that it is Carinosa instead. Unfortunately, not many Filipino-Americans know this, which is why at the time of this filming, it was still assumed that Tinikling is the national dance. This was my final project for Intro to Video Editing. I made a short documentary on tinikling, a popular Philipine folk dance. The time limit was 2 mins, but I pushed it to 2:25. There was so much more I wanted to put in there, but this was the best I could do given the time restraints.

Okishdu ::: Favorites I guess the previous poster went to Wikipedia. Fact is, Tinikling is the 'distinctive' dance that people know and enjoy watching and doing. The Carinosa is just another dance with fans. Tinikling appeals to all ages and has adapted to modern music easily.
