"I fought the Lloyds" is the story of what happened when Dan Oystar tried to get his bank charges back - money which had been unlawfully removed from his account by Lloyds TSB.

With the support of the MoneySaving Expert.com we've managed to get thousands of people to join the revolt against the banks. This song is part of an organised campaign to embarrass the banks into treating their customers a bit better.
Since the OFT test case was announced, the banks have notched up another 1 billion pounds worth of illegal charges! It's time for this to stop...

Poor old Aly Kitty. I'm sorry you don't like the song mate, obviously there are two sides to every story. It's a song that tells an original story in order to help other people get their money back. I work for the bank too, and this is a fucking joke, its a shit version of a great song and noone normal could ever take it seriously, it looks cheap and shit and the lyrics and bollocks. it makes no difference that i work for the bank, of course im against the message, and so would you be if you sat in my chair at work and listened to crap people spin, you have no idea mate, no idea

Bank charges have now dropped at the leading banks. At lloydstsb they are £6 a day if you go over by less than £25. Just apply for an overdraft or make sure you have the right amoudn of money in there.

i work for the bank. When you open you bank account you sign an agreement to stay within your limits. Its not the banks fault that you cant manage your money.

Power to the people! Let's get those bankers to give us back our money! Bank charges are not a proportional response to a customer going overdrawn, they are not fair and they are not legal under uk contract law.
