Description: For the record, "Crank That" is a prime example of the drastic decline in quality of American popular music. Instead of having songs such as "Hung Up," which reached #1 on the UK singles chart but only #7 on the American singles chart (one of only three countries in which it did not hit #1), which is actually music with singing, Crank That features a talentless imbecile who dances like an ADD-inflicted child looking like an a**-clown with lyrics which do not in any way ascribe themselves to a single functioning use of proper English grammar or semantic usage. It is a shame that "music" like this is popular nowadays. Nota bene, I believe that Dave Chapelle's Lil' Jon is a brilliant sketch and I've tried to contrast it with Crank That for a reason. |
