ejonestexas ::: Favorites Elvis didnt become a legend until 1987, I remember the date well. It was around the time that sightings of Elvis in supermarkets were in the National Enquire. James Dean was quite different, only his first film was released and he wasnt famous when he died. When teenages first discovred him in Rebel he was the dead guy in the new movie. East of Eden was re-released after Rebel and became a hit. So the man himself miss out on the sucess. He was only paid 10,000 for Rebel 07-06-27 17:32:59 _____________________________________________________

RideMyBMW ::: Favorites I think Jimmy Dean was sending up Brando : "You´re becoming a self-parody, man!" 07-07-16 16:26:53 _____________________________________________________
jjsamms61 ::: Favorites Sammy is really a white man in black skin. LOL. One of the greatest performer in human history. What an amazing singer and performer. Rest in Peace Sammy you have given so much of yourself and your talent will forever be remembered. 07-07-19 23:07:30 _____________________________________________________
Muirmaiden ::: Favorites Having seen this program as part of the special features of "Rebel Without A Cause" I have to say that I found it somewhat eerie considering most of those featured are no longer with us. Sal Mineo and Natalie Wood would soon have their lives tragically ended - just like their beloved Jimmy. Sammy was phenomenal. It's still an intriguing documentary, really gives insight into Jimmy. 07-07-26 03:29:59 _____________________________________________________ |
