Description:

Border Collie pups, born at the Border Collie Rescue Assessment and Re-habillitation centre near York, going out for one of their many daily walks together. Our own 10+ acres of land is supplemented by several hundred acres of surrounding farmland and farm tracks in remote countryside, allowing plenty of freedom to run and play together.

My idea of heaven. To be in a position to rescue the smartest and most beautiful breed of dog on the planet! How can we help? Thank you for posting this and for making the world a better place for what you do.

It rocks and sucks. It sucks when we have to say no because we are full, innundated, short funded and can only handle so many dogs so have to turn others away. It rocks when we see dogs that came to us with problems develop and then go on to a new home and realise their potential. All in all, Heaven outweighs Hell.

It's set up to make it best for the dogs, although not the most convenient way for us to cope. We have peace, quiet and space which helps the dogs settle and provides opportunities for freedom. Some dogs wander around freely, and like shown in this video, go for walks off lead and in groups as well as being taken out individually to secure paddocks or for longer walks on the tracks. They seem to enjoy it!
