fzr2 ::: Favorites 2007-11-30 14:07:04 I met him once at Donington, just sat in a garage working on someone elses bike, he wasn't racing, just went to give a mate a hand. An ordinary bloke who did extraordinary things, RIP. __________________________________________________
weecraiglikescars ::: Favorites 2007-11-20 16:07:14 he seemed such a smooth driver __________________________________________________

samba365 ::: Favorites 2007-11-17 07:25:14 Met him a few times when he was alive. Such a modest man capable of great things. __________________________________________________
gurdyz ::: Favorites 2007-11-09 14:49:18 Joey always seemed so safe. Never thought he'd go in a bike crash, such a shock to everyone who loves bikes. The TT hasn't recovered yet, especially after losing Dave Jefferies as well. __________________________________________________
africasud ::: Favorites 2007-11-06 09:31:08 A great tribute and a true legend. The Northwest 200 in 1991 was a great race where he raced against his brother on an unsponsored RC30 while Robert had the JPS Norton F1 and left him standing until his bike packed in . This just proves he was one the best you could get. __________________________________________________
FiachHyland25 ::: Favorites 2007-11-04 17:45:42 a pure legend R.I.P __________________________________________________

pernicketty ::: Favorites 2007-10-29 00:07:19 Agostini still holds the record for GP wins but he had the best bikes. I guess it depends how you look at it. Doohan and Rossi definitely had to work harder for their victories. Joey's run of 26 TT wins spanned several years and racing classes but the TT and MotoGP are so different you can't make direct comparisons. __________________________________________________
05376 ::: Favorites 2007-10-28 22:09:16 Maybe Valentino Rossi who races in Moto Gp. __________________________________________________
pernicketty ::: Favorites 2007-10-21 23:51:46 Did any man ever dominate any branch of motorcycle racing so completely as Joey dominated the island? A man of few words. We all knew him for his extraordinary talent but I wonder how many people really knew what made him tick. __________________________________________________ |
