Atheist-creationists are the atheist-evolutionist's best allies because they are removing the floor under the feet of the theists who are using the Intelligent Design Theory (IDT) to prove the existence of God. A bright evolutionist would argue that even if the IDT were to be true, it would not prove god at all but would simply indicate an extraterrestrial intervention on this Earth: the only scientific conclusion of the IDT about the "source" of the design. So Darwin or IDT: there is no God!!

Again, an infinite universe cannot be created so there is no "God" creator-of-the-Universe. Many intelligent entities exist in this universe and they have to be made of the "existing infinite substance": they are called intelligent life forms, as we are too.

If "God" would exists, the only way he could be is in the form of a life form (could not create the universe obviously), maybe a scientifically advanced extraterrestrial who came here and created man in their image and left traces of their work in scriptures. In any case and in this era where science is explaining life and space, it would be a good time to let go of the obscurantist God idea

The word "God" cannot be used in logical discussions because it is undefined, mystical and is based on faith. So do not come here trying to justify the concept of God on logic, you are loosing your time and mine.

Great explanation for infinity not an explanation for no God as claimed. God is Alpha and Omega meaning there is no Being or end. He makes a great argument for God and oneness. He proves there was always something and there will always be something. Something = Energy= Everything The universe and everything in it is part of God. God is not a White Man with a beard concerned with your daily actions.

You wrote "Who said anything about faith?". But isn't you who wrote below: "One can posit a God who...". So your intention in this discussion is to try to insert God in the equation of the Universe. But again, an infinite Universe does not need an undefinite concept like God, period!

The universe is infinite for the reasons I showed in the video (there are others also - next video). About potential infinite: I can translate Aristotle thoughts into mine in saying that one does not have to zoom in into infinity (space- infinite potential) to travel in a given direction. One can just move and stay at his level of infinity (actual) without zooming (potential) and that's the way we move. This resolves the Zeno's four famous paradoxes.

Aristotle defined the infinite as both potential and actual. Differences are important. Is the universe you posit infinite in time or space? If the universe is actually infinite as the Greeks thought, how do we explain it's existence other than the circular argument, "it just is." This is not me not understanding what you say, it's seeing a difference between the fact of existence and efficient cause. Read Aristotle's Physics. These terms are not outdated.

"An infinite universe does not need an undefined concept (God) added to it just because it is a part of a faith that someone needed to keep." Wow. No strong language assertions there. The terms "added" "faith" are unjustified. Who said anything about faith? You don't need to resort to straw man arguments. Infinity does not need anything else? Read more into the ancient philosophy (Aristotle in particular).

Maybe I can explain it better: An infinite universe does not need an undefined concept (God) added to it just because it is part of a faith that some need to keep. Infinity does not need anything else.
