Knoppix is a computer operating system which can be used as a live CD. It is a Debian based Linux distribution, developed by Linux consultant Klaus Knopper. This video as been recorded in a VMWare Workstation with 256 MB RAM; a lot of applications are executed, and he works fine all the time.

Do you use /ramdisk, because I've heard you can't do that much with only a little RAM.

lol i wouldnt get knopix if ur a gamer i would just get another version of it i forgot what its called but it meant for gaming lol but if ur not a gamer then just use knopix

Hey Splat..it does take that long to load in the first instance..because it's an Operating System running directly rom the cd..I have it and it's good. You can however though setup to save an image which will stop you having to go through all the text at the start.
