redneptune ::: Favorites HIV is transmitted (though not solely) via sexual fluids. The vast majority of people who are infected with HIV are infected by unprotected sexual contact. The CDC includes HIV on it's STD page for a reason, and that reason isn't because they're interested in splitting hairs. Feel free to give me some examples of this so called barbarism. I'm guessing it falls more in line with people being scared when facing someone with a contagious fatal disease. I have lost my father and best friend and cousin -- to start -- due to HIV and that's within the last 10 years. Also, you misread him.
